Subject: Florence Henderson on Tom Snyder show 5/15 From: dbrady@primenet.com (David E. Brady) Date: 1996/05/16 Newsgroups: alt.tv.brady-Bunch For those who missed it, Florence Henderson appeared last night on "The Late Late Show with Tom Snyder." She had a few amusing things to say, including this exchange with Snyder: FH: ...I'm a lot of fun. I enjoy life. TS: Are you a bobcat? FH: What does that mean? TS: Nevermind. FH: Do you mean, do I enjoy sex? Oh, yes. Of course I do. Later on, a caller asked what she thought of "The Brady Bunch Movie." She said: "I thought it was kind of cute. I thought the way they handled it, finally, was done very well. . . . I thought it was pretty good. . . . I would have liked to have seen our characters handled a little differently, though. Kind of like they did in 'Maverick.'" Snyder asked her if she'd be unhappy if she were no longer asked to participate in "Brady Bunch" projects (referring I think to cameos in the movies) and she said no. She said she has not been asked to appear in "A Very Brady Sequel" and she hinted several times that her appearance in the first film was done at the last minute. Among the bits of news, Henderson said she'll be singing the national anthem at the Indianapolis 500 on Memorial Day (something she's apparently done many times in the past) and that she'll be starting "a new picture" (as Snyder called it) titled "Wrinkles" in July.
